Linda Bauld, of the Stanford National Board Resource Center, is among those promoting certification and teacher leadership at the NBPTS Academy.
I’ll be attending the National Board Academy in Arizona for the next couple days, after a working and blogging hiatus for family vacation time. This event brings together a small but powerful working group of teacher leaders and others in the field – 170 participants overall, from 30 states. We’ll be focusing on teacher leadership and advocacy, advancing the NBPTS mission to promote accomplished teaching and strengthen the profession. I’ll be leading a portion of the program focused on writing for advocacy and look forward to learning from everyone in the room as well – during that session and throughout the next couple days.
