Blogging Panel at Teaching and Learning Conference

logo3If you’re attending the NBPTS Teaching and Learning Conference in Washington, D.C., and if you are blogging, thinking about blogging, or ever might be thinking about considering possibly blogging… here’s a session you should attend.

Writing Our Future: Blogging for Educational Change and Personal Growth

On Saturday, 3:0-4:15 p.m., I’ll be moderating a panel discussion with five bloggers with a wide range of experience and some wonderful insights to share. Here’s the description:

Panelists will discuss how blogging informs and influences the field of education, from pedagogy to policy, and how the writing process provides a spark for our own reflection and learning. We will share some of our successes and challenges, and highlight the work of the NBPTS blog, “The Standard.” We will also leave plenty of time for break-out groups to engage in more conversations and networking to allow veteran bloggers, newcomers, and anyone interested in the topic to share perspectives and learn with our panelists.

I’m especially please about the small group discussions, allowing participants to be contributors, and customize their experience at our session.

Below, you can view the slides for the panel discussion. They aren’t super attractive, but they provide names, blogs, and websites (if relevant) for each panelist. Hope to see you there!
